1. Application and Enrolment
- The Centre may refuse any application without providing a reason.
- Applications can be made at reception or by phone.
- A separate application is required for each participant.
- Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant medical information during booking and ensure that their contact and Home Portal details remain up to date.
2. Payments, Bookings, and Renewals
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. The minimum booking is eight sessions.
- After the fifth session, parents/guardians will receive an email offering priority booking for the next block. Two reminder emails will follow.
- Failure to top up before the new block begins means the place cannot be guaranteed.
- Fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Facility Manager.
3. Session Changes, Cancellations, and Closures
- The Centre may postpone, alter, or cancel sessions, activities, equipment, or facilities at any time due to operational needs, maintenance, repairs, or circumstances beyond its control.
- Where possible, an alternative session or credit may be offered, and the Centre will keep customers informed.
- In the event of a facility closure, the Centre will make every effort to contact customers promptly.
4. Absences and Credits
- Fees are non-refundable for missed lessons or voluntary withdrawal, including absences due to minor illness.
- Credit may be considered if a valid medical certificate is provided.
5. Supervision and Safety
- Teachers are responsible for children during lessons, but parents/guardians must remain on site for toilet breaks or behavioural issues.
- Child-to-teacher ratios follow governing body guidelines, and all teachers are appropriately qualified.
- Classes may be combined when safe and appropriate if a teacher is absent.
- Children aged 7+ must use gender-appropriate changing rooms.
- Children must not attend lessons until at least 48 hours after sickness or diarrhoea.
6. Conduct and Facility Rules
- Spectators are not permitted on poolside.
- Photographic, video, or audio recording equipment is not allowed in the pool area or changing village.
- Clothing and valuables must be stored in lockers, not in cubicles.
- Participants must be ready to start at the advertised lesson time (lessons are 45 minutes; Little Fins at are 40 minutes).
- Parents/guardians should not interrupt teachers during lessons. Queries must be directed to Reception or the Duty Manager or raised with the teacher after the lesson.
- In the event of an altercation between two children, the instructor should be consulted first. If the matter cannot be resolved, parents/guardians must direct their query to the Duty Manager.
7. Progression and Assessments
- The programme follows a structured swimming framework with continuous assessment.
- Progression is based on teacher judgment and meeting the required criteria, subject to space availability.
- Parents/guardians can move their child to the next level through the Home Portal once notified that the child is eligible and a place is available.
- Rates of progression vary between individuals.
8. Liability
The Centre does not accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal property.
