Contract Type: Part-Time
Hours per week: 24 hours (weekday and weekend shifts)
Payment: €12.70 per hour
The Role:
SCD Leisure Tallaght has an opening in the Hygiene Department. The ideal candidate should have experience in hygiene work but that is not essential as on-site training will be given.
They will be able to understand the needs of the customer in a busy sports and leisure centre and be able to work on their initiative to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
The person must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a team environment.
They must always display a professional attitude and ensure they remain responsive to the customer’s needs.
Responsibilities:
· Clean designated areas (dusting sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents, emptying bins, etc.)
· Document routine inspections.
· Carry out deep cleans and special projects.
· Notify management of maintenance/repairs.
· Stock and maintain the supply room.
· Follow health and safety guidelines.
· Cooperate with all staff.
Requirements:
· Experience hygiene worker (not essential)
· Ability to handle heavy equipment/machinery.
· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
· Familiar with Data Sheets
· Flexible working hours.
